Like the standard cartridge, this Giant version is made of activated carbon fiber which is proven to remove bad tastes and odors by adsorption. The Giant cartridge is tightly wound and uses very fine activated carbon particles to maximize adsorption efficiency. This economical Giant cartridge is also cellulose-free, making it ideal for well water applications.
