Putting Dirt In Its Place
Each DPF filter is fitted with 14 layers of polypropylene outer prefiltration medium designed to hod up to 35 grams of AC fine dust. This barrier serves to produce a filter with both extensive dirt and adsorptive capacity. This is an ideal filtration of the first stage of an RO system, or as a single-filter purifier. DPF filters come in four formulations, each designed to address a particular water treatment concern. Available in micron ratings from 1 to 5 µm, models are formulated to control an assortment of contaminants including chlorine, taste, odor, lead, cysts and particulates. All DPF filters measure 3.50″ O.D. x 1.19″ I.D. x 9.75″ L and are designed to fit standard 10″ housings.
